Glad to be on Globe!

For married couples, communication is an essential ingredient for a healthy relationship. So, we (yanx and vanz) agreed to set aside a portion of our budget for communication. We wanted a very reliable and flexible means of communication that can bridge us together when we are away from each other. Our best option .... cellular phones!

We did not have any problem choosing our service provider since we have been globe prepaid subscribers for so many years (definitely, more than 10 years!). Just last year, we quickly said 'yes' to a very flexible plan offered to us. The plan will enable us to share-a-load to each other but the best part of having this plan is being able to stay on budget! 

How did we stay on budget? Very simple. After estimating our monthly consumption of prepaid cards, we realized that we use approximately Php800 a month. From there, we decided to get PLAN 800 and get the free cellphone offered with the plan! Every month globe loads Php800 to Yanx. Then, a few load will be shared to Vanz. Sometimes, we exceed Php800 and have to buy prepaid cards but this happened only a few times. 

But wait...there's more! We recently discovered the following promos that might help our date - night or day - sweeter and a lot cheaper. Surely, we will try them!

Every time we visit relatives in Cavite, we are always aching to drop by and say our little prayers at the Pink Sisters. We got our wish! There are signs that recommend/ request silence. But the sign below says it all: We really want to attend mass here. Marinduque, Philippines (Part 2): Glimpse of Boac, Marinduque

" If you want a vibrant night life, don't go to Boac or any place in Marinduque for that matter. Chances are you would get bored and head to Manila the morning after. If you want a peaceful night and experience the countryside but still have little semblance of sub-urban living, the Town Proper of Boac is the place for you."  -  yanx and vanz Marinduque is sometimes referred to as the Heart of the Philippines due partly to it's shape and geographical location. Boac is the provincial capital of Marinduque. Since we are still mourning, we decided to take a closer look at Boac and skip other beautiful destinations of the province for the meantime. Grid pattern, anyone? Like any town proper in rural Philippines, the town proper of Boac seem to impose an automatic curfew on itself. We immediately called the Peninsula Manila Lobby for reservations after remembering that the renewal member's benefit of Peninsula Manila Card includes a complimentary afternoon tea buffet for two at the Lobby of Peninsula Manila.
