Our Bucket (Travel) List & AirAsia Zest

We love traveling. One of our ultimate goal  as a couple is to be able to explore the Philippines and see the rest of the world together. Some say it is very ambitious. We say it is possible! With so many budget-friendly accommodation and low cost fare, our dream can turn into a reality.

We have previously tried Zest Air budget deal and enjoyed our flight with them specially the sinful chocolate. Just imagine our delight upon hearing that Zest Air and Air Asia joining forces together and flying from Manila to local (Cebu, Davao, Kalibo (Boracay), Puerto Princesa, Tagbilaran, Cagayan De Oro) and international (Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Shanghai, Incheon) destination. Our local affordable low-cost airline teams up with the world’s best low cost airline. Perfect!

So far, we aren't halfway in our travel wish list. There are so many places to see and culture to discover. We are sharing with you some of our bucket list for our Philippine travel. We intend to visit and re-visit some of the most interesting places in the Philippines before traveling abroad. For us, our bucket list is not just a list but a testament of our journey together as a couple in meeting new people, learning the culture and loving each other more and more each step of the way.

1. Puerto Princesa

This place has been very elusive to us. We have always wanted to experience the Underground River even before its inclusion in the Seven Wonders of the Nature. For some reason, our trip was usually cancelled. As time flies, the places to see in Puerto Princesa seem to pile up. Plus, our friends informed us of a Vietnamese Village in Palawan since we love eating Vietnamese dishes. As a couple, we want to explore the gateway to the last frontier.

2. Tagbilaran, Bohol

We love the Boholano hospitality and the many things and places Bohol has to offer. In fact, we celebrated our very first honeymoon at Bohol. We kept on visiting Bohol and each time, we still discover something new not only in the place but also in our relationship. Sadly, Bohol has been devastated by the recent earthquake. We regret not visiting the old churches in our previous visit but we want to go back and still give our support to all the friendly Boholano that treated us like their family. For more adventure, we want to try riding a ferry for a short visit to other nearby provinces without airports.

3. Kalibo/ Boracay, Aklan

We started our almost yearly visit to Boracay to check out our relatives in the area. Nothing beats reconnecting with the family and seeing them face to face. The airport in Kalibo has been our top choice because Kalibo in itself has something to offer. We intend to drop by Kalibo in time for the Ati-atihan festival. It said that your wish will be granted if you join the street dancing during the festival. Maybe, just, maybe our long time wish to be blessed with lovely angels will come true. Another good thing to rave about Kalibo.... Iloilo is just a bus ride away!

Is our wish list possible? Of course!

If anyone has doubts in reaching their dream destination, doubt no more for your dream destination will finally come true with AirAsia Zest, The Right Way to Fly!
