A Day in Tagaytay City: Puzzle Mansion Bed and Breakfast

At the entrance

Next in our itinerary - the Puzzle Mansion. Rina requested to include this in our Tagaytay trip. Since we love puzzles, we gamely agreed and greatly enjoyed our short visit to the 1,000 ++ puzzles of Ms. Gina Gil-Lacuna!

Road leading to the Mansion
From the Bag of Beans, we followed the signs leading to the Puzzle Mansion. We have no idea on how to get there but we trusted the signs and asked around for directions.  Going to the Puzzle Mansion means travelling away from the main highway and down the steep and winding roads. But we enjoyed driving around the less travelled parts of the city and seeing other activities in the area like harvesting pineapples in the farms along the road. It is another worthwhile experience.

Eiffel Tower
As soon as we set foot inside the museum/exhibit area, our first word was 'wow' and a super amazed WOW at that! From time to time, we buy puzzles and try to put it together and we know how hard it is to put every single piece in the right place. Imagine how Ms. Gina did all the 1,000 ++ puzzles (and still counting) by herself. Amazing, isn't it? Indeed, she deserves the recognition by the Guinness World Records (clap!clap!clap!)!

Wall-E
We were happy to find Wall-E in Ms. Gina's collection. We also have this one but it is still in the box for more than a year! Maybe we could ask Ms. Gina to help us complete the puzzle.

Is Mona Lisa smiling? Well, Rina is. Thanks Rina for requesting this visit!

Guinness World Records Certification and more puzzles

For the love of puzzles!
While looking around the museum/ exhibit area, we heard that it costs a lot to be included in the Guinness World Record. So, we happily took our picture with the certification and stage. Our only cost for that is the entrance fee at the Puzzle Mansion.

Puzzle Mansion Bed and Breakfast
Originally, Puzzle Mansion is a family rest house. Now, it is not only about puzzles but it also has an infinity pool and several rooms to accommodate guests from a couple, family and a large group.

Family Room

Room good for two
Another room good for two

Although room rates are a bit pricey (more than 3K) especially if your on a tight budget, we still plan to stay overnight at this place and eat more of the coconut cream pie! If your in Tagaytay, try dropping by Puzzle Mansion and be inspired by Ms. Gina Gil-Lacuna's works.
