Southern Fun: Family Day at Nuvali

View from the taxi boat
Most of the time, unplanned trips are the ones that push through. This is true with our latest Nuvali escapade. We planned to have a simple family breakfast that turned out to be more than what we expected.

Fish Feeding Area

1st fishy encounter
Nuvali is the latest to-go-to place in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It is not only known for shopping and eating but also for the fun-filled activities. For kids and the kids at heart, fish feeding is the best activity!

Colorful Koi fish
There is a designated fish feeding area in SOLENAD 1. For only Php 15 per pack, we bought so many fish feeding pack one after another. Once you throw feeds to the waiting Koi, a fish feeding frenzy will definitely happen. Only packs bought in the booth are allowed! Please take note of the feeding time:  8AM - 5PM.

Taxi Boat, anyone?
For only Php 30 per person (minimum of 6 persons), we decided to try the taxi boat ride after the fish feeding. We liked the fresh vibe and the scenery while riding the boat! The taxi boat drivers have few surprising boat moves, which we also enjoyed.  But you may also want to caution the drivers beforehand to make it gentle.

Under the bridge, we go!

If you are not into water activities, stay on land by renting a bike for only Php 60/ hour. Looking around, we can say that Nuvali is perfect for biking, running or just plain walking. We will try biking next time.

Bike Rental
A booth, where you can pay for the boat ride, bike rental and fish feed pack, is located just in front of the fish feeding area and near the restaurants .

Affordable Price

We also discovered a shuttle that goes between SOLENAD 1 and 2. You just have to pay a very minimal fee.

Kids rule!
There are also other activities that we wanted to explore like bird watching at the wildlife and bird sanctuary as well as vegetable picking at the green and patches. That is Nuvali EvoLiving! Check out this website: http://nuvali.ph/see-and-do/parks-and-nature. If you need directions to get here, we found one at this website: http://www.takbo.ph/2011/10/how-to-get-to-nuvali-sta-rosa-laguna/

We will try to post our next Nuvali experience. For now, you may want to visit Nuvali with your family!
