Lesson for 1st quarter of 2012: In sickness and in health

Husbands and wives share so many aspects of their life together. Sickness is one of them.

I recently had a swollen jaw accompanied with a fever. The fever and swollen jaw did not last for more than three days and the doctor said it was nothing serious. Well, nothing serious happened to me. But a few days after, my husband got a really high fever. It was only after three days that we got to consult a doctor and I had to take care of  my dear husband for more than three days. It was a severe case of tonsillitis. He quickly recovered after taking medicine and a long rest.

After a month, I remembered my husband while he was taking anti-biotics, he looked at the receipt for his anti-biotics and asked me, "1,000 pesos for few tablets of anti-biotics? How will Filipinos afford to buy medicine?" Oh well, it was a good question but I still don't have the answer. For now, I know that we both have common colds.

God is good! Looking forward for the 2nd quarter of 2012!
