Date Night @ Aruba Bar and Restaurant

A friend advised married couples to spend one special night every week as a date night. Since then, we have been committed to have at least one date night a week. Well, it is not easy but it can be done. Here is the first of our Date Night Series and tips to fulfill your date night commitment.

TIP No. 1: Your date night can be one of your many firsts!

Since we haven't been in a bar for a long time, we decided to hold our date on a Wednesday night at Aruba Bar and Restaurant, Metrowalk. Our 1st Halloween Date!

We watched the band, MILAN, perform timeless classics mostly from the 80's and liked the songs and also their energy!

We super like the bar area..so classy and elegant. And the crowd is enthusiastic and appreciative!

Just a reminder... Aruba has a very strict dress code.
  • No hats of any kind
  • No sleeveless shirts and jerseys for guys

Marinduque, Philippines (Part 2): Glimpse of Boac, Marinduque

Afternoon Tea Buffet Table We wanted to escape the summer heat without going to the malls or heading to the beach and breaking our wallets. We immediately called the Peninsula Manila Lobby for reservations after remembering that the renewal member's benefit of Peninsula Manila Card includes a complimentary afternoon tea buffet for two at the Lobby of Peninsula Manila.
